Asian Cartilage Repair Society conducted its 2nd cadaveric workshop at NOCERAL, Kuala Lumpur in conjunction with 3rd Congress of Asian Cartilage Repair Society combined with 3rd Congress of Malaysian Arthroscopy Society. NOCERAL is a centre of excellence with GMP lab, state of art research facilities and a dedicated staff for cartilage and arthroscopy research. The director of the centre, NOCERAL, is Prof Tunku Kamarul Zaman.
Dr Goyal was invited by ACRS and Prof Kamarul to conduct the cadaveric workshop. Dr BH Min from Ajoua University, Korea and Dr Azhar Mohammad from Malaya University, Malaysia were the co-faculties.
The workshop involved an interactive discussion about cartilage repair protocols with faculties and delegates, followed by hands on training of various cartilage repair procedures. Dr Goyal taught various methods of cartilage repair to the delegates. Candidates were very enthusiast to learn different methods and Dr Goyal helped delegates to understand the concept of cartilage repair.
Dr Tunku Prof Kamarul Zaman, director of NOCERAL, University Malaya honoured Dr Goyal at the end.
