The official professional body of Orthopaedic Surgeons of Rajasthan state organised their annual conference ROSACON at Udaipur from 12-13th January' 2008. The organising secretary of the congress, Dr B L Kumar invited Dr Goyal for the congress as an invited speaker. Dr Goyal presented 5 years results of treating different types of cartilage injuries following sports injuries. The talk was very enlightening to the members of Rajasthan Orthopaedic Surgeon's Association (ROSA) and they asked very pertinent and relevant questions to Dr Goyal. It received a due attention in local media as a large number of sports injury occur in Rajasthan and goes untreated due to poor awareness amongst sports people and medical fraternity.
